WHO WE ARE

SUKHI 222, is a USA-based, international-level non-governmental organization. SUKHI 222 is a registered not-for-profit operating under the fiscal sponsorship of IFERS, Institute for Education Research and Scholarships.

What We Do

We educate advocate and help implement actions required for universal dignified access to fresh water, adequate nutrition and secure shelter. When these are recognized as human rights, and supported by both public and private sectors the result is what must be called a CIVIL society.

Why We Do It

We believe that it is possible to affect the trajectory of civilization towards a more peaceful and harmonious existence of this and future generations, with each other and our environment.

The vision of SUKHI 222 is to create a forum and an organization for world help and health minded corporations and individuals to connect and collaborate on the paths towards the facilitation of every man, woman and child attaining and maintaining dignified access to “222”.

How We Work

Sukhi 222 seeks to engage with developing linkages, networks and collaborations at all levels – international, national and local – amongst stakeholders through engaging in synergies and sharing of strengths to optimize benefits to both end-beneficiaries and to the larger socio-political milieu.

While focusing on media-for-peace- approach, SUKHI 222 engages with the larger development sector and allied stakeholders to create peaceful and empowered communities through improved access to basic human rights (adequate food, water and shelter), information and education.

Where We Work

SUKHI 222 volunteers have a world vision while recognizing everyone has their own stake in our mission.

To date we have supplied water filters in Northern Ghana that will provide nearly 1,000 people with at minimum 2gallons of clean water for many years.

In Cameroon we supplied food and hygiene products to two small communities of internally displaced persons.

In Nepal we have collaborated with Sukhi 222 Nepal, registered non-profit in Kathmandu and provided food, hygiene products and school supplies to a rural orphanage.

All these projects have been carried out by volunteers in the host countries. As we expand and obtain resources we will look to work with existing NGOs and form affiliations to achieve our common missions and goals.
